Tax invoices and GST in Singapore
A GST-registered business must issue a tax invoice to GST-registered customers. Up to $1,000 including GST a simplified tax invoice is enough; above that the checklist also asks for your client's name and address. GST is 9%, with zero-rated exports and exempt supplies marked per line, and out-of-scope supplies carry their own note.
When you invoice in another currency, IRAS asks for the GST in Singapore dollars too: enter the exchange rate and the invoice adds a "Total tax in SGD" line. You can add PayNow details alongside your bank account.

What is the GST rate?
9%. Exports and international services are zero-rated, some supplies are exempt, and out-of-scope supplies carry their own note.
I invoice in US dollars. What changes?

Does this send my invoice through InvoiceNow?
No. It makes a PDF. If you are required to send invoice data to IRAS through InvoiceNow, you need an InvoiceNow-ready solution for that as well.
Do you store my invoices?
No. Your invoice is sent to our server only to build the preview and the PDF, and the PDF is deleted within an hour. Your business details, draft and recent clients are saved in your own browser so you don't have to type them again; "Clear my data" removes them.
